Dropped off the motor...
The drive was amazing, very beautiful scenery. Farm land and fields galore! Not to mention I got to drive acrossed the Conowingo Hydro-Electric powerstation. It was like a mini Hoover Dam. It was pretty cool. When I go pick up my motor I will take my camera with me and take some Hi-Res shots.
After getting the motor out of my car at Competition Speed and Sound it sat for a couple weeks trying to gather the rest of the funding needed for the motor build. and during that time I bought new motor mounts, waterpump, valve cover gaskets and as I mentioned before the stuff at the powdercoaters.
So anyway, once I got to JLP they were really nice and hospitable and helped me get the motor and crate out of the back of the truck and into their garage and proceeded to put it on an engine stand. When that was all done, the mechanic Andy showed me a couple of the Lightnings they were working on. Pretty cool stuff I must say.
Anywho, I had to pay 50% down to get the motor built, so as we walked out of the garage and into the main office there in the show room was a 05+ GT with a kennebell on it, a 07+ Shelby GT500 with a kennebell on it, a Chyrsler 300C and a truck. I gotta say Johnny, you have a sweet setup man!
Till next time..."Make horsepower, not excuses!"
